The 2nd International Children’s Day celebration is set to take place in Raleigh on June 1, 2024. The event, organized by the Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum in collaboration with Artist Studio Project and NC Vibes, aims to bring together individuals of all ages to celebrate the spirit of childhood.

The theme of this year’s event is encapsulated in the phrase, “Together we can find the child within.” According to the organizers, the celebration is open to children of all ages, from preschoolers to seniors, as everyone possesses an inner child waiting to be awakened.

In a statement released by the organizers, they expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “This event is intended for children of all ages, from preschool to seniors. We all have an inner child and stories have a way of awakening the magic in all of us. Come join us for a free and fun-filled day of storytelling for the whole family.”

The International Children’s Day celebration is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and promises a day filled with engaging storytelling activities for attendees. The event is free of charge and aims to provide a platform for individuals to reconnect with their youthful selves and embrace the joy that comes with it.
