Amazon has announced its lineup of new movies, series, and live sports coming to Prime Video in September. Among the notable additions is “Hotel Costiera,” an action-drama series set to premiere on September 24. The show follows Daniel De Luca, played by Jesse Williams, a former U.S. Marine who returns to Italy as a fixer at a luxury hotel while searching for the owner’s missing daughter.

Several Amazon Originals are also debuting throughout the month. On September 1, “The Runarounds,” a music drama about high school graduates forming a rock band in North Carolina, will be released. The cast includes musicians William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zende Murdock, and Jesse Golliher.

“Dish It Out” premieres September 5 with Tilly Ramsay leading the series through culinary trends and family recipes. “Confidence Queen,” arriving September 6, is a Korean comedic caper starring Park Min-young, Park Hee-soon, and Joo Jong-hyuk as swindlers targeting corrupt villains.

On September 10, two new series launch: “The Girlfriend,” based on Michelle Frances’s novel and starring Robin Wright and Olivia Cooke; and the animated show “Helluva Boss,” which makes its Prime Video debut with its first two seasons plus a special episode titled “Mission: Zero.”

September also brings the second season of “Every Minute Counts (Cada Minuto Cuenta)” on September 12. The series covers events following a massive earthquake in Mexico City and features various characters responding to ongoing threats.

Comedian Larry the Cable Guy’s special “It’s a Gift” will be available from September 12. Additionally, the spinoff series “Gen V” returns for its second season on September 17.

Prime Video will continue to offer live sports broadcasts in September. Baseball fans can watch New York Yankees games against teams like the Houston Astros (September 3), Detroit Tigers (September 10), and Minnesota Twins (September 17). National Women’s Soccer League matches include Racing Louisville FC vs. Portland Thorns (September 5) and several others throughout the month.

Thursday Night Football coverage begins with Washington Commanders at Green Bay Packers on September 11 and continues with Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills (September 18) and Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals (September 25). WNBA games such as Phoenix Mercury at Washington Mystics are scheduled for September 4.

Returning shows include new episodes of “Betty la Fea, The Story Continues” and “The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.” A range of films will join Prime Video’s catalog starting September 1, including titles like “A Monster Calls,” “After Earth,” “Casino,” “Children of Men,” “Rain Man,” “The Bourne Identity” franchise entries, among others.

Additional upcoming releases later in the month include “A Working Man” (September 3), “Black Bag” (September 5), “Novocaine” (September 12), “Tommy’s Honour” (September 14), and both “Love Hurts” and “Trolls Band Together” on September 19.

“Prime members can watch a ton of different live sports in 2025.”
