The City of Raleigh is offering an art series called “Visions of Peace,” led by instructor Adrienne Garnett. The program aims to help participants explore peace through artistic expression. According to the announcement, Garnett is described as “a dynamic, thoughtful, award-winning artist who loves working with artists of any age.”

Garnett will instruct attendees on using various art mediums and expressing emotions through their artwork. The classes are scheduled for Wednesdays from September 10 to 24 at Five Points for Active Adults, running from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The program is open to individuals aged 18 and older, with a registration fee of $22.

Participants are required to bring their own supplies, which can be found listed online or at the front desk. Registration is available through RecLink.

“Adrienne will guide you through not only how to utilize different art mediums, but also how to channel your feelings onto paper. This is a class you don’t want to miss. You must bring supplies before coming to class. Supplies are listed online, or available at the front desk,” according to the event description.
