The City of Raleigh is hosting a Back to School Jamboree at John Chavis Memorial Park. The event will take place on Saturday, August 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It is open to all ages and free of charge.

Attendees can expect activities including giant inflatables, food trucks, crafts, and games. According to the announcement, “Students can grab a free lunch box and water bottle while supplies last—don’t miss it!”

The jamboree aims to offer families a chance to enjoy an evening at the park as the new school year approaches.
