Bank of America announced on Apr. 14 that more than 25,000 children registered for its Golf with Us program over Masters weekend, marking a 160% increase compared to the same period last year. The enrollment is part of the bank’s effort to reach a goal of 250,000 total sign-ups within two years. The deadline for kids to enroll in the program is June 15.

The surge in participation highlights growing interest among young people in golf and reflects the impact of major sporting events on youth engagement initiatives.

The bank introduced the second year of Golf with Us shortly before the Masters tournament began. According to Bank of America, much of this year’s sign-up momentum came from a marketing campaign featuring members reimagining some of the most iconic moments from past Masters tournaments. These included Rory McIlroy’s notable shot on the fifteenth hole and his celebration after winning his green jacket in 2025.

The campaign appears designed to inspire young golfers by connecting them with memorable achievements in professional golf history.

Looking ahead, Bank of America continues its efforts to encourage youth participation in golf through ongoing promotional activities leading up to the June deadline.
