A Bike Maintenance Clinic is set to take place on Saturday, Jan. 20 and Saturday, March 16, from 1 – 3 p.m. The clinic aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to properly maintain their bikes, ensuring a great ride every time.

According to the organizers, regular bike maintenance is essential, whether one is riding indoors on a trainer or outside on their favorite route during the winter season. The clinic will cover important topics such as chain maintenance, derailleur adjustments, and how to fix a flat tire.

“We want to empower riders to take care of their bikes and ensure their safety on the road,” said one of the organizers. “By teaching participants the basics of bike maintenance, we hope to instill confidence and self-reliance when it comes to keeping their bikes in excellent condition.”

The clinic is open to individuals aged 14 and up. Those interested in attending are required to preregister for the event. The cost of participation is $12, which includes access to the clinic and guidance from experienced instructors.

Participants are encouraged to bring their bikes and any questions they may have regarding bike maintenance. The clinic aims to provide practical, hands-on instruction, allowing attendees to leave fully equipped to handle common bike maintenance tasks.

To register for the Bike Maintenance Clinic, interested individuals can visit RecLink and sign up for the event. Spaces are limited, so early registration is advised.

Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your biking experience and ensure a smooth and safe ride. Join the Bike Maintenance Clinic and learn valuable skills that will benefit you on every cycling adventure.
