Congressman Brad Knott, who represents North Carolina’s 13th district, recently addressed a range of state and local issues in a series of posts on his official Twitter account.

On February 18, 2026, Knott praised the state’s economic growth and energy needs. He wrote, “Because of our legislature’s leadership over the past 15+ years in passing pro-business policies, there are few states that are growing like North Carolina. As such, we need reliable, affordable energy that meets increasing baseload demand. I applaud @DukeEnergy for breaking https://t.co/VX0tD5eZCo”.

The following day, on February 19, 2026, Knott announced an event for constituents seeking passport assistance. He posted, “ATTENTION #NC13: My office is hosting another passport fair with @StateDept on March 23, 24, and 25. We look forward to helping you get your passport issues resolved; come see us! https://t.co/cZ3E9sRkKh”.

Later on February 19, Knott commented on student protests in Buncombe County related to public education and migration. He stated, “Irrefutably and ironically, mass migration worsens public education. Students should be in class, not picketing along a busy highway for a partisan exercise. Shame on the local leaders in Buncombe County, North Carolina, who are encouraging these activities. Their actions https://t.co/AxdSJ02X9X”.

Brad Knott was elected to Congress in 2024 after defeating Frank Pierce with nearly 59% of the vote.
