Congressman Brad Knott, who was elected to represent North Carolina after defeating Frank Pierce in the 2024 general election, has recently posted a series of tweets addressing economic development, political disputes, and voter identification.

On February 12, 2026, Knott highlighted several policy goals in a tweet: ” Providing an economic boost for North Carolina Breaking China’s monopoly on critically important materials Ensuring responsible mining practices https://t.co/FfaHdUwvIo”.

Later that same day, Knott questioned Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison’s response to allegations made by Senator Josh Hawley. In his tweet, he stated: “Does @keithellison know there’s a recording of him doing exactly what @HawleyMO describes here? Seeing him yell ‘that’s a lie’ evidences he has no defense. https://t.co/F71xd4T4bP”.

On February 13, 2026, Knott commented on North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper’s actions regarding voter identification: “We should all take a moment to celebrate the unique and profound capabilities of Roy Cooper for …. showing an ID before voting. https://t.co/QiaFeHeeAk”.

Brad Knott won his seat in Congress by securing 58.6% of the vote against Frank Pierce’s 41.4% during the 2024 general election.
