Congressman Brad Knott, who won his seat in 2024 by defeating Frank Pierce with 58.6% of the vote, has recently made several statements on social media addressing a range of political issues and congratulating a new member of Congress.

On December 2, 2025, Knott criticized Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, writing: “Tim Walz: a profile in true courage. He will fight to protect boys’ rights to access girls’ locker rooms, he demotes whistleblowers who SCREAM about Somali immigrants defrauding taxpayers to send billions to our enemies overseas, and continually fights to protect any illegal”.

Later that day, on December 3, 2025, Knott addressed immigration policy and due process for non-citizens. He stated: “Despite the Democrat talking points, “process” that is “due” to an illegal alien narcoterrorist is NOT equivalent to the Due Process American citizens are entitled to. Arguing otherwise is an effort to stop all enforcement, deportations, or removals in full.”

In another post on December 3, 2025, Knott congratulated a colleague: “Congratulations Congressman-Elect Van Epps! Looking forward to serving with you in the House. @MattForTN”

Knott’s comments come after his victory over Frank Pierce in the general election held in 2024, where he secured nearly 59% of the vote against Pierce’s 41%. This electoral win solidified his position as a representative voice within Congress.
