Congressman Brad Knott, who won his seat in 2024 after defeating Frank Pierce with 58.6% of the vote, used his social media platform on February 18, 2026, to address issues related to immigration enforcement and express support for Senator Ben Sasse.

In a post published at 01:17 UTC, Knott questioned American tolerance regarding crimes committed by undocumented immigrants. He wrote, “How can any American tolerate citizens being brutalized by people here illegally? This victim, and millions more, will never fully recover from crimes that should have never occurred. It is astonishing to me. We as a people are too tolerant on this subject, to our detriment.”

Later that day at 14:41 UTC, Knott referenced Senator Ben Sasse and offered prayers for him and his family. He stated, “This is worth the listen, an amazing perspective that deserves great weight. We will be praying for @BenSasse and his family as they battle.”

In another message posted at 20:06 UTC on February 18, Knott criticized Democratic lawmakers over their stance on immigration law enforcement. He claimed that Democrats had halted operations at several federal agencies in protest against immigration policies. Brad Knott secured his congressional seat in the 2024 general election with a significant margin over Frank Pierce—winning nearly 59% of the vote—a result that provided him with a strong mandate among voters.
