Congressman Brad Knott, who represents North Carolina’s 13th congressional district, recently posted a series of tweets addressing immigration policy and public safety concerns.

On July 30, 2025, Knott wrote, “Keeping 11 million+ illegals out under Biden would’ve helped.” On July 31, he encouraged constituents to stay updated on legislative matters by subscribing to his newsletter: “Looking to stay informed on all things #NC13 and DC? Sign up for my newsletter and receive tomorrow’s update straight to your inbox! : https://t.co/Ggr2HLYmj7 https://t.co/9jzxuJfEnz”

In another post dated August 1, Knott commented on crime and sentencing related to undocumented immigrants. He stated, “This is unfortunately common now: illegal alien criminals committing grievous crimes, hurting Americans. That 23 month sentence is insufficient and serves as NO deterrent. We must pass the Stop Illegal Entry Act to protect Americans, punish illegal alien criminals, and deter”

Brad Knott won election to Congress in 2024 after defeating Frank Pierce with approximately 58.6% of the vote.
