Congressman Brad Knott, a representative known for his active engagement on social media, recently shared his thoughts on various issues via Twitter. His posts from June 9, 2025, cover topics ranging from local industry visits to national immigration policies.
In a tweet posted on June 9, 2025, Congressman Knott discussed his visit to Grifols USA’s facility in Clayton, North Carolina. He noted the company’s expansion in both North Carolina and the United States over recent decades. Highlighting its role as a leader in life-saving plasma treatments, he emphasized the importance of having access to such medical resources locally. “Before heading back to DC last week, I stopped at Grifols USA’s facility in Clayton, #NC13. This international company has expanded in NC and the US over the last few decades and is a leader in life saving plasma treatments. Having access to plasma close to home is critical.”
Later that day, Knott reacted to statements made by an unnamed mayor regarding law enforcement practices concerning illegal immigrants. Expressing surprise at the mayor’s message, he conveyed his disagreement with halting arrests and deportations as a means to end riots. “The mayor’s message is clear: stop arresting and deporting criminal illegal aliens and the riots will stop. I am stunned.”
Continuing on this theme of immigration and public safety, Knott criticized state leadership for their handling of violent incidents involving illegal immigrants. He accused both the Governor and Mayor of shifting blame onto Republicans and former President Trump while failing to address ongoing violence against law enforcement officers. “Violent illegal aliens are destroying a great American city and waging full on assault against law enforcement officers. The Governor and Mayor are blaming Republicans and President Trump while doing nothing to stop the destruction and violence.” He also expressed support for President Trump’s condemnation of these events.
