Congressman Brad Knott, a Republican who represents North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District, shared several statements on social media between August 25 and August 26, 2025. His posts addressed topics ranging from migration policies to the start of the school year and law enforcement.

On August 25, Knott commented on migration policy in Western countries, writing, “Easy. For the American and European left, mass migration is more important than protecting citizens.” He followed up later that day with a message directed at his district’s education community: “Wishing all #NC13 students, teachers, and staff a great new school year!”

The following morning, Knott turned to public safety issues, posting on August 26: “There is nothing compassionate about weak law enforcement. Allowing known, recidivist criminals to avoid any consequence only brings more crime, victims, and avoidable loss.”

Knott assumed office after defeating Frank Pierce in the 2024 general election by a margin of nearly 17 percentage points (58.6% to 41.4%).
