Congressman Brad Knott, who won his seat in 2024 by defeating Frank Pierce with 58.6% of the vote, has recently used his social media platform to address issues related to election integrity and child sexual abuse.

On April 29, 2026, Knott questioned procedures for handling suspected voter fraud involving non-citizens, writing: “Will you alert @ICEgov whenever you find illegal aliens voting or on our voter rolls? That’s election fraud. Plain and simple.”

Later that same day, he turned attention to the legal process faced by survivors of child sexual abuse. He stated: “Children who are sexually abused shouldn’t have to face their attacker in court every few years for decades. Thank you @kayleigh_kozak for standing up for the voiceless. We are indebted to you.”

On April 30, Knott reiterated his position regarding sentencing in cases of child sexual abuse: “If someone sexually abuses a child, justice looks more like life in prison or the death penalty. Not what Kayleigh is going through. A victim being forced to face her attacker in court, for decades, is unconscionable.”

Brad Knott secured his congressional seat after winning against Frank Pierce in the 2024 general election with a margin of nearly 17 percentage points.
