Congressman Brad Knott, who was elected in 2024 after defeating Frank Pierce with 58.6% of the vote, has recently shared a series of posts on his social media account commenting on issues ranging from urban migration to law enforcement and local education initiatives.

On February 19, 2026, Knott commented on population changes in Chicago, stating: “Everyone except illegal aliens are leaving Chicago. With their high crime, high prices, and high taxes, it’s a wonder more folks have not left.”

Later that day, he praised local law enforcement for cooperating with federal authorities: “Great work by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office who apprehended this criminal, contacted @DHSgov, and are working with federal authorities to have him REMOVED. See how it is supposed to work? Well done! “ The post highlights his support for collaboration between local police and federal agencies regarding criminal apprehension and immigration enforcement.

On February 20, 2026, Knott shifted focus to educational development in North Carolina: “Honored to attend this week’s groundbreaking for the new high school in Clayton, NC!”

Knott represents his district following his victory over Frank Pierce in the 2024 general election by a margin of over 17 percentage points.
