Congressman Brad Knott, who was elected in 2024 after defeating Frank Pierce with 58.6% of the vote, has recently made a series of posts on social media addressing issues related to border security, immigration policy, and government negotiations.

On September 7, 2025, Knott posted a brief comment: “Makes me wonder who paid for lunch…”

Two days later, on September 9, he commented on law enforcement actions and broader policy concerns: “While we celebrate this important seizure, it is a proverbial drop in a much larger bucket. International crime is deeply embedded in the U.S. because of horrifically lax border and immigration policies. We must continue deportations, prosecutions, and close loopholes in the law.”

In another post on the same day, Knott addressed House Democrats’ stance on immigration enforcement during budget negotiations: “House Democrats: ‘Stop immigration enforcement, and especially stop deporting illegal immigrant criminals, or face a government shutdown.’ Got it.”

Brad Knott’s recent comments come amid ongoing national debates over border security and immigration reform. As context for his remarks, Knott won his congressional seat by defeating Frank Pierce in the 2024 general election with nearly 59% of the vote.
