Congressman Brad Knott, a former federal prosecutor who won his seat in 2024 by defeating Frank Pierce with 58.6% of the vote, recently used his social media platform to comment on criminal justice issues and immigration policy.

On May 14, 2026, Knott reflected on his previous work as a federal prosecutor, stating: “This was one of the last cases I worked as a federal prosecutor. Brad Knott’s comments come against the backdrop of his recent electoral victory in 2024 over Frank Pierce by a margin of nearly 17 percentage points. His background as a federal prosecutor has influenced his approach to public safety and criminal justice during his tenure in Congress.
