Congressman Brad Knott, who represents his district after winning the 2024 general election against Frank Pierce with 58.6% of the vote, has recently addressed several issues affecting his constituents through a series of posts on social media.

On August 7, 2025, Knott notified residents of Caswell and Person County about disaster relief efforts in response to Tropical Depression Chantal. He wrote: “Attention Caswell and Person County residents

@SBAgov is offering disaster relief to small businesses, private nonprofits, and residents affected by Tropical Depression Chantal.

You can apply at the link below and SBA customer service representatives are on hand at the” (August 7, 2025).

Later that day, Knott paid tribute to military veterans recognized for their sacrifices. He stated: “Today, we honor and pay tribute to the 1.8 million Purple Heart recipients who bravely served and protected our nation. These heroes are often under celebrated; each of us owe continued gratitude for their sacrifice.” (August 7, 2025).

On August 8, Knott commented on housing affordability issues tied to regulatory policies. He posted: “Housing costs increase anywhere from 20 to more than 40 percent due to needless regulation. Bureaucratic delays, uncertainties, constant and needless approvals are turning housing into a luxury. While Senator Warren is correct in identifying an issue, her solution (more” (August 8, 2025).

Brad Knott assumed office following his victory over Frank Pierce in the previous year’s election.
