Congressman Brad Knott, who won the 2024 general election against Frank Pierce with 58.6% of the vote, recently made several statements on social media regarding immigration and border security.

On August 8, 2025, Knott posted, “Unbelieveably, there are more illegal aliens in NC than AZ. The Dem’s open border immigration policy made every state a border state. Strengthening border security through the OBBB is an important win for North Carolina and our country.” He included links to further information in his post.

In a follow-up tweet later that day, Knott referenced a Breitbart News article and wrote, @BreitbartNews @hannahbleau_ – “REP. BRAD KNOTT: THERE ARE MORE ILLEGALS IN NORTH CAROLINA THAN IN ARIZONA”.

The next day, on August 9, 2025, Knott commented on former President Donald Trump’s stance on immigration enforcement. He stated, “President Trump sent a clear message: If you’re here illegally, please self-deport or face the consequences. Democrats’ attempts to obstruct @DHSgov and committed refusal to enforce our laws continues to harm Americans.”

Brad Knott represents North Carolina in Congress and has been vocal about his position on immigration policy since his election victory over Frank Pierce in 2024. His recent posts align with ongoing national debates about border security and immigration enforcement policies.
