Congressman Brad Knott, who represents North Carolina’s 13th district, has recently shared updates on his official Twitter account highlighting new initiatives and community engagement efforts.

On August 21, 2025, Knott introduced a new program focused on local businesses: “Here’s a new feature we’re starting this week: the NC-13 Small Business Spotlight! These businesses form the backbone of our economy and the character of our communities; each month, I’ll highlight a different business in #NC13. The following day, August 22, 2025, Knott posted a question regarding teaching experience and Native American identity: “Were you a teacher before, during, or after your time as a Native American? https://t.co/wk4mJWj1Oj”.

Later that same day, Knott expressed appreciation for collaboration with stakeholders supporting veterans: “It was an honor to work with many public and private stakeholders to serve our veterans last week at our office’s Veterans’ Services Initiative – and we will surely do it again! Brad Knott secured his seat in Congress by defeating Frank Pierce in the 2024 general election with 58.6% of the vote to Pierce’s 41.4%.
