Congressman Brad Knott, who was elected to office in 2024 after defeating Frank Pierce with 58.6% of the vote, has recently posted a series of statements on his official social media account addressing issues related to immigration, crime policy, and political figures.

On March 7, 2026, Knott criticized House Democrats for inviting an undocumented immigrant to the State of the Union. He wrote: “.@HouseDemocrats brought an illegal alien who they referred to as “a Great American” to the State of the Union. This man has 2 police reports involving sexual assault on minors. And, they shielded the illegal from law enforcement. They have lost their minds.”

Later that day, Knott questioned common arguments about urban crime reduction strategies. On March 7, he posted: “Explain to me how “cities cannot incarcerate their way to lower crime” makes sense? It doesn’t. And, you absolutely can.”

On March 8, Knott commented on a public figure’s background and views regarding Israel and Jewish people. He stated: “A radical, Islamic communist who previously supported “globalizing the intifada” is married to a woman does not care for Jewish people. How is this news?”

Brad Knott won his congressional seat in the 2024 general election against Frank Pierce by a margin of more than 17 percentage points.
