Congressman Brad Knott, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, recently used his social media platform to highlight legislative and trade developments. On July 23, 2025, Knott commented on a new international agreement, stating, “Another huge trade deal that will benefit the USA and the great people of Japan!”

Later that day, Knott turned his attention to domestic policy concerns regarding immigration and public safety. He posted, “Under the Stop Illegal Entry Act, prosecutors could keep this monster off the streets and deter others like him from trying to enter our communities. We must pass my bill to prevent future tragedies.” This statement reflects his advocacy for stricter measures against individuals he describes as “criminal illegal immigrants.”

On July 24, 2025, Knott continued to promote his legislative agenda by discussing a proposed bill with media outlets. He wrote, “Reversing the cost-benefit analysis for criminal illegal immigrants is essential to stopping them from harming Americans.

I sat down with @BrasfieldAshley @DailyCaller to discuss my and @RepBice’s bill, the Stop Illegal Entry Act.”

The Stop Illegal Entry Act is legislation introduced by Congressman Knott in collaboration with Representative Stephanie Bice. The bill aims to increase prosecutorial tools and penalties for individuals who illegally re-enter the United States after being convicted of certain crimes or deported for criminal activity.

Internationally, trade relations between the United States and Japan have been an area of ongoing cooperation in recent years. Both countries have sought agreements designed to expand economic ties and reduce barriers in key sectors.

Congressman Knott has made border security and international trade central themes of his legislative work during his tenure in Congress.
