Business Bloom, a program aimed at supporting aspiring entrepreneurs in the Raleigh area, is now accepting applications. The initiative welcomes everyone, with a special focus on immigrants, refugees, and those new to the United States.
The program offers an eight-week course designed to equip participants with essential skills for starting or expanding a business. Participants will receive practical training on business and innovation, one-on-one mentorship from local business experts, guidance on registering and licensing businesses in North Carolina and Raleigh, networking opportunities within the local business community, and a supportive community of fellow entrepreneurs.
To be eligible for Business Bloom, applicants must be 18 or older, reside in the Raleigh area, be fluent or comfortable in English, have a business idea or operate a home-based business they wish to grow. They must also commit to attending two evening training sessions per week—one in person and one virtual—from September 8 onwards.
Those interested are encouraged to apply promptly. For inquiries about the program, potential applicants can contact coeprogram@raleighnc.gov using “Business Bloom” as the subject line.
