The Carolina Hurricanes have announced the roster for their annual Prospects Development Camp, set to take place at Invisalign Arena this week. The camp will feature all seven selections from the recent 2025 NHL Draft, alongside select players from previous drafts and additional invitees.
Among the 2025 NHL Draft selections are Semyon Frolov (G) from MHK Spartak (MHL), Charlie Cerrato (C) from Penn State (Big Ten-NCAA), Ivan Ryabkin (C) from Muskegon (USHL), Kurban Limatov (D) also from MHK Spartak (MHL), Roman Bausov (D) from Dynamo St. Petersburg (MHL), Viggo Nordlund (LW) from Skelleftea AIK (Sweden Jr.), and Filip Ekberg (LW) from Ottawa (OHL).
Eight other players are attending their first development camp in Raleigh, including Fyodor Avramov, Blake Biondi, Ben Hrebik, Nils Juntorp, Jaeden Nelson, Alexander Rykov, Alexander Siryatskiy, and Stanislav Yarovoi.
Additionally, eight players who attended last year’s camp are returning: Dominik Badinka, Michael Emerson, Simon Forsmark, Noel Fransen, Josh Nadeau, Jayden Perron, Justin Poirier, and Oskar Vuollet.
Five NCAA programs have representation at this year’s camp with current or former players: North Dakota with Michael Emerson and Jayden Perron; Notre Dame with Blake Biondi; Maine with Josh Nadeau; Merrimack with Michael Emerson; and Penn State with Charlie Cerrato.
The on-ice portion of the Development Camp began today at Invisalign Arena. The schedule includes fitness testing on Monday morning followed by on-ice testing in the afternoon. Skills sessions are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday mornings before player departures on Thursday.
