The Carolina Hurricanes have recalled forward Bradly Nadeau from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL), according to an announcement by General Manager Eric Tulsky. At the same time, defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere has been placed on injured reserve, retroactive to October 18.

Nadeau, who is 20 years old and from St-Francois de Madawaska, New Brunswick, has started the season with two goals and two assists in three games for Chicago. He was recognized last season as a member of the AHL’s All-Rookie Team after leading all rookies in points (58), goals (32), and game-winning goals (7). Nadeau also appeared in two NHL games with Carolina, recording his first career NHL point with an assist during a game against Montreal on April 16. He was selected by the Hurricanes in the first round, 30th overall, of the 2023 NHL Draft and made his NHL debut for Carolina in their 2023-24 season finale against Columbus.
