The City Council is set to hold its afternoon session today at 1 p.m., followed by a public comment session at 7 p.m. Citizens are encouraged to participate and stay informed about the decisions and discussions taking place in their local government.

For those unable to attend in person, the City Council provides live streaming of their sessions. The live stream link will appear next to the event date in the blue box on the City’s website when the Council is in session. If the link does not appear, viewers can scroll down and click on the provided YouTube link to watch the meeting live.

In the event that the live stream link fails to appear during a session, the City Council also offers a YouTube streaming option as a backup. It is important to note that the City does not endorse any videos or ads that may appear on the YouTube feed once the council meeting is over. Additionally, the YouTube version does not provide a copy of the agenda alongside the video feed. To access the agenda and minutes of past council sessions, viewers can refer to the BoardDocs platform.

For those interested in catching up on previous meetings, the City Council has made past sessions available for viewing on their Video Services page. This allows residents to stay up-to-date and review any discussions or decisions that have taken place in the past.

Furthermore, the City’s RTN Channel is always streaming something, whether it be a live stream of a meeting in session or a recent pre-recorded meeting. By visiting the City’s website, viewers can hit the play button and see what is currently playing on the RTN Channel.

In anticipation of the afternoon session and public comment session, citizens are encouraged to take advantage of the live streaming options and stay engaged in local governance. As John Doe, a concerned citizen, stated, “The live streaming of City Council meetings is a valuable resource for those unable to attend in person. It allows us to stay informed and participate in the democratic process.”

To access the live streams, past meetings, and RTN Channel, simply visit the City’s website and follow the provided links. Stay connected and informed about the decisions and discussions shaping your community.
