Children ages 2 to 5 are invited to take part in a St. Patrick’s Day event at Hill Street Park on Monday, March 16. The program, called “Little Leprechaun,” will run from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and costs $8 per participant. Activities include crafts and storytime centered around the holiday. Pre-registration is required through RecLink.

The City of Raleigh organizes community events like this as part of its efforts to serve residents and support local life. The city is managed by an elected city council and a city manager who oversees operations, as described on the official website https://raleighnc.gov/city-council. The city manager’s office is responsible for delivering public services, shaping policy, and managing the budget, according to https://raleighnc.gov/city-managers-office.

Raleigh also contributes to community life through its sports scene, which includes teams such as the Carolina Hurricanes, highlighted on https://raleighnc.gov/doing-business/services/why-raleigh/quality-life-raleigh.

“Come out and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with us! Calling all the little leprechauns, one and all! We are going to have a sham-ROCK of a good time creating crafts and reading stories to celebrate this fun holiday! Hope to see you soon! Pre-Registration is required.”

For more information about registering for the event or other city programs, visit the City of Raleigh’s official website.
