Families are invited to take part in a hands-on event at the City of Raleigh Museum where children can create their own zines, or mini magazines. The event is open to kids ages 3 to 15 and encourages participants to use provided materials or bring their own supplies. Topics for the zines can include favorite animals, personal stories, or history.

The Family Fun Day Zines! activity is scheduled for Saturday, September 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is no cost to attend and no registration is required.

Organizers state the event is “fun for all ages” and designed to be accessible and creative for families throughout Raleigh.
