The City of Raleigh Museum, in collaboration with Moore Square and The Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum, will host a living history event at Moore Square. The program aims to highlight figures from Raleigh’s past through performances by local actors who will present monologues about their contributions to the city.

“Take a journey through time by candlelight, where you’ll encounter talented local actors who will bring these compelling stories to life through powerful monologues.”

After the historical tours, attendees can participate in free fall-themed crafts at the Community Tables. Fall snacks and beverages will be available, along with an opportunity to purchase a premier craft experience that supports the City of Raleigh Museum. Local vendors will also offer food and beverages for sale.

The event is scheduled for Friday, October 17, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with tours beginning at 4:15, 5:15, and 6:15 p.m. It is open to all ages and there is no cost or registration required.
