CITY OF RALEIGH: Open Call for Designers and Builders of ADUs

City of Raleigh issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.

We are working hard to provide more housing options for residents of Raleigh. ADUs are about to get easier to build. ADUs are Accessory Dwelling Units, small self-contained homes located on the same lot as the main house. We are conducting an open call for designers and builders to submit plans for ADUs to become part of an online gallery of designs. Homeowners would be able to purchase plans from the designer and “fast-track” the building process.

Are you a designer or builder of ADUs? Do you want to be part of the program? Submittals are now being accepted. Deadline for submittal is March 1, 2022.
