The City of Raleigh announced on May 26 that it is seeking a partner to operate the café space at Pullen Park Amusements. The available facility includes a 1,988-square-foot café building with nearly 70 feet of frontage and an adjacent outdoor seating area.

All food concepts are welcome for consideration, and proposals that incorporate Pullen Park’s unique history are encouraged. The selected operator will serve as the exclusive brick-and-mortar provider of food and drink during special events and family days in the park.

Full information and proposal guidelines are available in the Request for Qualifications posted on the North Carolina electronic Vendor Portal. Questions related to this opportunity may be submitted via email to Kimberly Oliver at Kimberly.oliver@raleighnc.gov.

The City of Raleigh is led by an elected city council, supported by a city manager who oversees operations, delivers public services, shapes policy, and manages the budget, according to the official website. The city serves districts A through E through its council structure and has influenced local policy through ordinances such as changes to election terms in 2024, according to the official website.

Raleigh also contributes to community life with its sports scene, featuring teams like the Stanley Cup-winning Carolina Hurricanes, according to the official website.
