The City of Raleigh Arts Commission has selected 35 local nonprofit organizations as Raleigh Arts Partners for the 2025-2026 cycle. These groups were chosen through a detailed application process, based on recommendations from the commission.

The chosen arts partners represent a variety of artistic disciplines and offer opportunities for community members to engage with the arts in different ways, whether as creators, audience members, or students.

According to the City of Raleigh, “Each year, the City of Raleigh Arts Commission chooses Raleigh-based arts nonprofits to expand arts experiences and cultural opportunities for residents and visitors, helping the City realize its vision for Raleigh as a community connected through arts and culture, where every person is empowered to lead the creative life they envision.”

Raleigh Arts serves as the central point for public art initiatives, community programming, and partnerships that support local nonprofit arts organizations. The office also manages city-owned art centers such as Pullen and Sertoma Arts Centers, exhibition spaces, and oversees the Municipal Art Collection. Its mission is to ensure all residents have access to artistic experiences throughout the city.

Describing its broader goals, Raleigh Arts stated: “Toward realizing the City’s vision for arts and culture—art everywhere and art with everyone—Raleigh Arts works to ensure every resident has access to and can enjoy the arts as art makers, audience, and students.”

The Raleigh Arts Partner Program provides funding and other resources to these nonprofit organizations so that both residents and visitors can experience diverse forms of art across various locations in Raleigh.
