Raleigh Parks is inviting volunteers to join the Community Advisory Group (CAG) for the future Forestville Road Park. The park site, approximately 25 acres in size, is located at 4909 Forestville Road near its intersection with Buffaloe Road.

The property includes unique natural features and historic resources. More information can be found in the Pre-Development Assessment Plan.

Raleigh Parks aims to collaborate with the community to create a master plan that aligns with local residents’ needs and desires. This plan will guide the design, construction, and programming of the park.

To support this process, Raleigh Parks is forming a CAG. This group will work alongside City staff to ensure that the park’s design meets community preferences.

Interested individuals can learn more about the CAG and apply through the provided application link. The deadline for applications is Friday, Feb. 21.
