Congressman Brad Knott, who represents North Carolina’s 13th district, has recently shared a series of updates on his official Twitter account addressing border policy, educational outreach, and local industry engagement.

On July 28, 2025, Knott criticized Democratic immigration policies, stating in a post: “Under the Democrats’ policies, illegal aliens knew they could continually cross the border illegally with no consequences. Rather, they would get rewarded with taxpayer-funded benefits. Democrats put illegal alien criminals above the American people. Not anymore. We’ve made”.

The following day, July 29, 2025, Knott announced an event for parents and students regarding U.S. Service Academy applications: “IMPORTANT Announcement for parents and students: My team will be at the @NCNationalGuard headquarters in Raleigh to provide information about the application process for the U.S. Service Academies. Come see us and bring your questions! https://t.co/4YVLT9Z6sA”.

Later that same day, Knott commented on a recent visit to a major energy facility in his district: “I recently had the privilege of touring the @DukeEnergy plant in Person County #NC13. This plant is a major employer and critical resource for several of our surrounding regions, not just North Carolina. What a pleasure to meet the dedicated North Carolinians working there and https://t.co/UtiqKrrRH2”.

Brad Knott secured his congressional seat by defeating Frank Pierce in the 2024 general election with 58.6% of the vote to Pierce’s 41.4%.
