Residents can still sign up for kayaking and paddleboarding sessions at Falls Lake this September. The City of Raleigh is offering several opportunities for those interested in learning new water skills or joining a guided tour.

The kayak tours are scheduled for Friday, September 5 from 6 to 8 p.m., and Friday, September 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The cost for the tour is $25. For those seeking instruction, Kayak 101 will take place on Saturday, September 27 from 9 to 11 a.m., while SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) 101 is set for Saturday, September 20 from 9 to 11 a.m. Each introductory class costs $35.

All activities will be held at Forest Ridge Park and are open to participants aged 14 and older. Registration can be completed online through RecLink.
