First Friday Market and Movie Night returns to Moore Square for 2026 season

Raleigh Parks’ Moore Square, in partnership with Get 2 Know Raleigh, announced on June 3 the return of the First Friday Market & Movie Night series for the 2026 season.

The free monthly event will take place on the first Friday of each month from May through November in downtown Raleigh. Activities include local vendors and food trucks starting at 5 p.m., live music at 5:30 p.m., and a featured outdoor movie beginning around 7:15 p.m. The event is open to all ages and there is no cost to attend.

The movie lineup for this year includes “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” (June 5), “Hamilton” (July 3) with an early start time of 6 p.m. as part of America 250 celebrations, “Zootopia 2” (August 7), “Remember the Titans” (September 4), “Ghostbusters” (October 2), and “Fantastic Mr. Fox” (November 6) which will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m.
