A sunset hike is scheduled at Forest Ridge Park on Wednesday, October 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event invites participants aged 14 and older to walk along the park’s northern shoreline and stop at a peninsula point to watch the sunset. Organizers recommend bringing a headlamp or flashlight for the return trip due to reduced light.

The hike will cover terrain with roots and rocks, and equipment such as trekking poles, binoculars, and extra headlamps will be available for those who need them. The cost to participate is $6. Registration can be completed through RecLink.

Participants are encouraged to prepare for uneven ground and limited visibility after sunset.
