Jazz in the Square is set to return to Moore Square in 2025, featuring live performances by some of the Triangle’s leading jazz musicians. This free concert series offers an opportunity for attendees to relax with friends, enjoy food, and experience the soulful sounds of summer in Downtown Raleigh.

The event will feature food trucks on-site, wine and beer available for purchase, and space for blankets and chairs for lawn seating. The lineup includes performances from Moon Unit featuring members of INSTANT ALTER on August 7, Patrick McGrew Trio and Também on August 14, NCCU Jazz Collective on August 28, Enloe Jazz Ambassadors and Juno Hill on September 11, Shirlette Ammons on September 18, and Brevan Hampden y sus Hermanos on September 25.

The concerts are scheduled for Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m., are open to all ages, and are free of charge. The event is presented in partnership with Downtown Raleigh Alliance and Sleepy Cat Records.
