A free outdoor community event is scheduled to take place at Halifax Park on Friday, September 26. The event, called “Movie on the Lawn,” will run from 6:30 to 10 p.m. and is open to all ages. Attendees can expect local vendors, face painting, a food truck, and a movie that will begin at dusk.

Organizers are asking participants to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for seating. While outside food is allowed, alcohol is not permitted on park property.

To help organizers plan for the event, attendees are encouraged to pre-register either online at reclink.raleighnc.gov or in person at any community center. There is no cost to attend.
