Globe Telecom has entered into a multi-year strategic agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to advance its digital transformation efforts across the Philippines. The partnership aims to modernize Globe’s telecommunications and digital services by using cloud-based infrastructure and artificial intelligence.
The collaboration covers several areas, including cloud infrastructure modernization, enhanced disaster recovery, and improvements in platform engineering. These initiatives are designed to increase network resiliency and support Globe’s commercial activities. AWS will also assist Globe in updating its B2B systems and digital platforms, adding new features for GOMO service users, and implementing advanced consent management systems for more personalized customer experiences.
Network innovation is another focus of the partnership, with plans to transform network management systems and introduce new solutions for SIM activation and porting. Real-time operations will be improved through better campaign management and data streaming capabilities, enabling Globe to deliver more targeted offerings to customers.
Artificial intelligence will play a significant role in transforming customer experience at Globe. The company will use AWS AI-powered solutions for managing the customer lifecycle and deploy a voicebot built on an AWS AI platform.
