Governor Josh Stein has announced a reward of up to $25,000 for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder of Michael James Mitchke.

The incident occurred on August 21, 2022, when officers responded to a report of a camper fire at 3740 St. Peters Church Road in Salisbury. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Mitchke, aged 57, deceased inside the camper. An autopsy later confirmed that he had died from multiple gunshot wounds.
