An upcoming heist film, “Play Dirty,” is set to debut on Prime Video on October 1. The movie follows Parker, portrayed by Mark Wahlberg, as he leads a team including Grofield (LaKeith Stanfield) and Zen (Rosa Salazar) into a high-stakes encounter with the New York mob.

The film is directed by Shane Black, known for “Iron Man 3.” The script was co-written by Black, Charles Mondry, and Anthony Bagarozzi. It is based on the Parker novels by Donald E. Westlake, who wrote under the name Richard Stark.

The cast also features Keegan-Michael Key, Chukwudi Iwuji, Nat Wolff, Thomas Jane, and Tony Shalhoub.

“Play Dirty” will be available to stream for Amazon Prime members. Membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year and includes benefits such as fast shipping and exclusive deals. Amazon provides discounted memberships for young adults aged 18–24 and college students through Prime for Young Adults, which offers a six-month trial followed by a lower monthly or annual rate. Government-assistance recipients can access Prime Access at a reduced price after a 30-day trial.

Prime Video continues to expand its action offerings. Other recent releases include “The Pickup,” an action comedy featuring Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson, and “Heads of State,” starring John Cena and Idris Elba as world leaders facing a global conspiracy.
