The Five Points Center for Active Adults is hosting a holiday crafting workshop on December 4, where participants can learn to create kimekomi holiday trees. This traditional technique involves drawing and cutting a pattern onto a surface like styrofoam, then covering it with fabric that is tucked and glued into the cuts. Decorations such as ribbons and beads are added to complete the festive look.

The workshop will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to individuals aged 18 and older. The cost of participation is $19 for residents and $34 for non-residents. Interested participants can register through RecLink.

This event offers an opportunity for attendees to enhance their crafting skills while enjoying the company of others during the holiday season.
