On August 9, 2025, the John Wall Family Foundation held its annual Family Reunion at Roberts Park. The event drew more than 800 people from the community and provided support to 500 K-12 students. Students received backpacks, school supplies, lunch bags, haircuts, and dental hygiene kits to help them prepare for the new school year.

Organizers described the day as one that brought together laughter and connection among attendees. “Together, we created an atmosphere filled with joy, connection, and hope. We want to thank John Wall for his continuous support and dedication to giving back to his community in Southeast Raleigh.”

The foundation also recognized John Wall’s recent retirement from professional basketball. “Congratulations, John Wall, on your retirement from the NBA. Thank you for the unforgettable moments on the court and the impact you’ve made beyond the game. Wishing you the best in this next chapter!”
