The Lenovo Center’s new View Bar will open to the public for the first time on February 17, coinciding with the NC State versus UNC men’s basketball game. Brian Fork, CEO of Hurricanes Holdings, made the announcement on Tuesday.

“We’re thrilled to introduce this state-of-the-art amenity for fans visiting Lenovo Center,” said Fork. “Open to all fans in attendance, the View Bar provides a gathering space to grab a drink on the third level without losing sight of the action.”

Located in sections 317-319, the View Bar is accessible to all guests at Lenovo Center. The venue is continuing construction on other amenities in its 300-level area, including a new grab-and-go concession and updated restrooms.

After its debut during the NC State game, the View Bar will be available for select concerts and events. Its first appearance during a hockey game will take place when the Carolina Hurricanes host the Tampa Bay Lightning on February 26.

The Lenovo Center serves as home to the Carolina Hurricanes and features more than 700,000 square feet of space with multiple seating levels and various amenities such as suites and concession stands, according to its official website. The arena can accommodate up to 20,000 people and hosts over 150 events each year. It also contributes more than $200 million annually to Raleigh’s local economy through events and community engagement efforts.

The Carolina Hurricanes have recognized players like Eric Staal and Rod Brind’Amour in their Hall of Fame for their significant contributions to the team. The franchise also achieved a major milestone by winning the Stanley Cup in 2006 (source).
