An issue affecting the phone system of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Marine Fisheries’ Observer Trip Scheduling System has been resolved. Fishermen can now use the phone number 833-487-8747 to log their gill net fishing plans. Additionally, the web portal at dmf.ncdenr.org/OTSSPublic is still available as an alternative.

The Division expressed gratitude for fishermen’s patience and cooperation during the disruption. For further assistance or if any issues arise, individuals are encouraged to contact the Observer Program at 252-515-5625.
