NC Museum of Art hosts outdoor movie series at Moore Square

The North Carolina Museum of Art is set to host its outdoor movie series at Moore Square in downtown Raleigh this summer. The event will feature monthly screenings of family-friendly films, complemented by crafts, games, and food trucks.

The 2025 movie schedule includes “Piece by Piece” on June 20, “The Wild Robot” on July 18, “Wicked” on August 22, and “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” on September 26. All movies will begin at 7:15 p.m., with food trucks starting service at 5:30 p.m. and pre-movie activities commencing at 6 p.m.

This event is free for all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the films under the stars. For updates on activities, food vendors, and special guests, follow @raleighparks, @mooresquare, and @ncartmuseum.

The event is presented in partnership with the North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA) and Downtown Raleigh Alliance.
