The Neighborhood Ecology Corps offers a program for middle and high school students, specifically those entering grades 6-10. The initiative aims to cultivate environmentally-literate citizens by providing hands-on experiences that offer a comprehensive understanding of their communities.

The program is scheduled to meet once a week after school from September through May. Additionally, it includes field trips on select weekends and during school break days. Participants will have the opportunity to form friendships, become more comfortable in outdoor settings, and enhance their understanding of the connection between community, ecology, and environmental justice.
