The National Hockey League announced on May 15 two potential timelines for the upcoming 2026 Eastern Conference Final, depending on the outcome of the second-round series between the Buffalo Sabres and Montreal Canadiens.

The league said that if the Sabres-Canadiens series ends in six games, the Carolina Hurricanes will face the winner according to one schedule. If it goes to seven games, a different set of dates will apply. Specific game dates were not detailed in Thursday’s announcement.

Tickets for Games 1 and 2 of the Eastern Conference Final are now available, as well as tickets for Games 5 and 7 if necessary. The NHL also encouraged fans to learn more about Carolina’s playoff run and secure seats as “the Canes’ chase for the Cup continues.”

According to the official website, the Carolina Hurricanes have recognized players like Eric Staal and Rod Brind’Amour in their Hall of Fame for their significant contributions. The team achieved a notable milestone by winning the Stanley Cup in 2006, according to their official website.

The Hurricanes play at Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. According to its official website, this venue features over 700,000 square feet with multiple seating levels and various amenities including suites and concession stands. The arena accommodates up to 20,000 people and hosts more than 150 events yearly; it contributes over $200 million annually to the local economy through events and community engagement.
