The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) ranked as the top economic development organization in a new survey conducted by the Development Counsellors International (DCI).

“The EDPNC is honored to be recognized as the top statewide economic development organization by national site selection consultants,” Christopher Chung, chief executive officer of the EDPNC, said in the organization’s release on Oct. 14 about the report. “We strive to offer unmatched customer service to companies considering North Carolina for new facility investment ― first and foremost listening closely to their expansion needs and then working closely with our many partners to deliver optimal location solutions across the state.”

The survey found that North Carolina ranked third among respondents when asked about the best business climate, the EDPNC said in the release. The survey also found that access to skilled talent is a top location factor when searching for a site.

Certain locations, however, are at a disadvantage because of the pandemic, the EDPNC release said.
